I’m an analytics and marketing specialist with nine years of experience across digital platforms, promotions, events, and integrated campaigns. I have worked for companies big and small, including Atlantic Media, Coca-Cola, and Honest Tea, while also applying my expertise for a range of Fortune 500 and nonprofit clients. My industry and company experience makes me feel at home regardless of whether I’m working in a startup environment or in a corporate office.
I currently lead the analytics practice at Atlantic Media, helping its publications continue to meet the best practice standards of digital publishing. I rejoined Atlantic Media in 2018 after spending a year at Remedy Health Media, as head of analytics for its portfolio of sites, including HealthCentral, The Body, and Berkeley Wellness.
Before that, I led digital trends and insights for Atlantic Media Strategies, the digital consultancy of The Atlantic. In this role I ensured that a smart perspective on the latest digital best practices was diffused throughout all of AMS’s work, from sales efforts to ongoing client projects. Successes included creating AMS’s newsletter and Medium publication, Digital Trends Index, and developing a proprietary compendium of digital best practices to inform client projects.
Some of my friends and colleagues know me as King Nerd: you might catch me analyzing quarterback stats while watching a Jets game on fall Sundays. It is a manifestation of my deep desire to understand my industry and my passions. But I also know the value of clear, compelling storytelling. Overall, I try to find the balance between quantitative and qualitative insights throughout my work.
